This guy is being swung by a massive logs.

Not only that, he also hit by moving trucks, and even pelted with bricks. He’s not a stunt dude having a bad day, he’s testing his own invention: a high-tech suit designed to survive a Grizzly bear attack.
It all started after a terrifying face-to-face encounter with a Grizzly while camping, this Canadian inventor didn’t just run away, he became obsessed. He wanted to study bear behavior up close, but he needed protection.
The result? The Ursus Mark VI. A suit that cost him roughly $150,000 to develop. He wanted to make sure that no matter how hard a bear swiped, he wouldn’t feel a thing. by the way, his name is Troy Hurtubise.

His brutal (and honestly, quite chaotic) testing process was documented in a film titled Project Grizzly. It shows Troy putting his body on the line to prove the suit’s durability against any super crazy impact you can imagine.
Shortly, the moment of truth finally arrived. Troy stepped into a cage with two massive bears: a Grizzly and a Kodiak. He was ready for the ultimate showdown.
The result? The bears completely ignored him!
They didn’t bite, they didn’t swipe, they just walked away. According to Troy, the suit was too successful. It looked so strange and non-human that the bears didn’t even see him as a threat or a target.
Fun fact! Even though the bears didn’t attack, Troy’s dedication earned him an Satirical Ig Nobel Prize in 1998 for his courageous (and slightly eccentric) contribution to safety engineering!
